The National Association for Gun Rights sounded the alarm on China funding the UN “Small Arms Treaty” in an email released on February 8, 2022.

Dudley Brown, the President of the NAGR, authored the email and noted that the “Red Chinese are now the LARGEST funder of the UN ‘Small Arms Treaty’ — radically outspending EVERY other country in the world.”

By signing onto this treaty, the Biden Administration will give the Chinese Communist Party the green light to use this global gun control scheme to disarm American citizens.

In this email, Brown called on NAGR supporters to sign their official firearms sovereignty survey in order to inform their respective U.S. Senators of where they stand on the UN’s “Small Arms Treaty.”

The UN Small Arms Treaty aims to regulate international trade in conventional weapons, thus making gun control global. In effect, foreign bureaucrats would be allowed to undermine Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

One part of the treaty Brown called attention to is in Article V, which urges countries to create a “National Control List.” This is a recordkeeping system designed to track “end users” of “small and light weapons” for a “minimum of ten years.”

In effect, the National Control List is an international gun registry that will include sensitive information on American gun owners. As many Second Amendment supporters know, registration is just the first step towards outright gun confiscation.

The UN, a thoroughly globalist institution, already has plans of developing a new “International Small Arms Control Standards” (ISACS).

Brown highlighted some of the introductory language included in the bill:

*** Mandated national “screening” for those seeking to own guns, giving bureaucrats the final say on whether or not you’re “competent” enough to own a gun;

*** Restrictive licensing for gun and ammo sales, and perhaps even bans on certain types of firearms. This could include anything from semi-auto rifles to shotguns and handguns;

*** Restrictions on the number of guns and amount of ammo any “properly-licensed” individual may legally own;

*** Bans on magazines holding more than ten rounds; and

*** Bans on owning a firearm for self-defense — unless a citizen can somehow demonstrate need and get federal government approval.

This is what’s at stake with regards to a potential move by the US to sign on to the UN Small Arms Treaty.

China is an authoritarian country that has no concept of the right to bear arms. For several globalist factions in the US, China looks like a model of human control to be emulated at scale.

Patriotic Americans should sound the alarms on this UN treaty. Signing on to it will open the door for an unprecedented power grab that would only be imaginable in tyrannical regimes like Communist China.
