Adrienne Klein is unlikely to be nominated for mother of the year.
The 43-year-old Gulf Breeze, Fla. woman and her boyfriend, Gesart Hoxha, 20, of Buford, Ga., are accused of flying her 12-year-old daughter from Texas to Georgia for sex. The pair then put the girl up in a local hotel, cops say.
The adults were nabbed after the Gwinnett Police Internet Crimes against Children Taskforce contacted Texas detectives last September, Fox News reports.
At Hoxha’s home, authorities allegedly found explicit photos of the victim and sexually charged online messages between the child and Hoxha. A large amount of cash was also recovered.
“Our detectives learned that Klein and Hoxha facilitated the transportation of Klein’s 12-year-old daughter across state lines from Texas to Gwinnett,” police said in a statement.
“Detectives executed a search warrant at Hoxha’s home, 1869 Appaloosa Lane in Buford. Large sums of cash, explicit photos of the victim were uncovered. Hoxha and the minor exchanged several messages online including the explicit photos.
“Klein and Hoxha arranged travel to Gwinnett County for Klein’s 12-year old daughter by purchasing the flight for the child to fly from Texas to Gwinnett County, and provided money for the hotel stay,” police alleged.
Hoxha has been charged with child molestation, statutory rape, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and child pornography. Klein has been charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and cruelty to children.
