Upset with “Kenney’s spiel” in his Tuesday press conference, protesters have again shut down all lanes of Hwy. 4 near the Coutts border crossing.

RCMP reacted with a tweet Tuesday night at 7:30.

RCMP told the Western Standard all lanes are blocked with “tractors shoulder-to-shoulder” near the border crossing, however, access into and out of the village of Coutts has not been affected.

A trucker working with the organizers at the protest, who has asked to remain anonymous for fear of being targeted by law enforcement, said protesters have moved back onto the highway near the main intersection at the village of Coutts to signal they’re unhappy with Alberta Premier Jason Kenney’s decision to only lift a portion of the public health restrictions.

“We asked for an arm, he gave us a pinky toe,” said the trucker.
