Claudia Resendiz-Florez gave her prospective paramour the kiss-off with a bullet, cops allege.

The Illinois mom of three is accused of shooting to death a man who refused to give her a smooch.

Officials say Resendiz-Florez, 28, had recently moved in with James P. Jones, 29, and his girlfriend at a Chicago-area housing complex. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a love triangle developed between the trio.

On Thursday night they were boozing when the love-smitten Resendiz-Florez asked Jones for a kiss. He refused and kissed his girlfriend. She then reportedly asked the girlfriend for a smack on the lips and she also torpedoed the plan.

Resendiz-Florez went to back to Jones for a kiss and he refused again. By now, prosecutors allege, Resendiz-Florez was boiling mad and she snatched Jones’ gun that was hidden in the couch and pointed it at the target of her desires.

When Jones tried to lower the gun, he saw that she had taken off the safety. Police say that’s when she fired once, hitting him in the chest.

His frantic girlfriend called 911 and officers retrieved the gun when they arrived. The girlfriend told police that Resendiz-Florez was the shooter and she was taken into custody.

She allegedly confessed to the shooting and is now charged with murder.

Her public defender said that Resendiz-Florez was not living with Jones and his girlfriend at the time but instead with their extended family in another Chicago suburb.

She is being held without bail.
