President Joe Biden said in his speech yesterday that 90% of the Americans who wanted to leave Afghanistan were able to leave the country:
BIDEN: "90% of those who wanted to leave were able to leave."
90% might be an A- on a test but when you're talking about leaving that many Americans behind in hostile territory that's an absolute, undeniable failure.

But he also said 5,500 Americans did leave the country leaving only 100-200 in Afghanistan:
Biden said they reached out 19 times to Americans in Afghanistan "with multiple warnings and offers to help them leave Afghanistan." Said they got 5,500 Americans out. Now, he says there are "100-200 Americans in Afghanistan with some intention to leave."

Math, how does it work?
Biden says 90% of Americans who wanted out were able to get out. He also says 5,500 Americans got out. Um, 10% of that is 550, no 100-200. Does anyone in this administration pay attention to the crap they spew?

Just another gaffe to add to the pile:
Not clear why Biden used the 90% number to refer to Americans evacuated, when he's providing stats suggesting it's more like 96-98%

The White House has since cleaned up the mess:
Update: The WH has issued a corrected version of Biden’s speech transcript showing he meant to say/should’ve said 98% of Americans had been evacuated, not 90%. pic.twitter.com/RgZ8WtypZx
